What is Massage?
Massage therapy, which includes myotherapy, is the practice of kneading or moving a person’s muscles and other soft tissues to make them feel better or improve their health. It is a type of manual therapy in which the muscles, tendons, ligaments, and fascia are held, moved, and pressed on.
The term “massage therapy” is used to describe a wide range of different techniques that vary in how they touch, how much pressure they use, and how hard they work.
